Art on display!

Two recent artworks are being featured in Gang Gang Gallery’s next exhibition! Just a short drive from Sydney, the gallery is an excellent experience and located in Lithgow.

This painting “No sound but the flapping of wings” was inspired whilst sitting out on Sturts Stoney Desert with nothing but dust rising in the midday sunlight when a bird wended it’s way overhead. I fancied I could see the trail of his wings in the dusty sky. Desert light is fascinating to me and in this work, I have used metallic paints to capture the effects of our mineral rich soils in this arid land.

Do pop into the gallery when on your way through Lithgow. I can promise you, you will not be disappointed!
